The Story
Basajaun Studio is the creative universe of Philippe Quentin — a Franco-American artist based in Nîmes, France, working at the crossroads of generative AI, retro-industrial design, and speculative fiction.
The studio produces art prints, digital downloads, and archival collections exploring corporate dystopia, analog futurism, and the forgotten aesthetic of mid-century industrial propaganda — reimagined through a science fiction lens.
Every piece is treated as a recovered artifact: weathered by use, stained by industry, preserved against all odds. No clean renders. No glossy futures. Just the beautiful, broken remnants of ambitions too large to survive.
When not in the studio, Philippe leads European bus tours for North American students — finding conscious travel and genuine human stories in every stop across the continent.
