The Haven Retreat: Where Time Slows and the Soul Awakens

The Haven Retreat is hidden in Northern California's Mount Shasta pristine wilderness and is more than just a retreat—it provides entry to inner peace. Our futuristic pods, suspended in the space between Earth and sky, serve as a sanctuary of stillness for people who need to escape modern life's fast pace.

Our pods demonstrate astonishing design through organic curves that merge flawlessly with the mountain terrain while presenting stunning panoramic views over endless valleys below. Reflective infinity pools capture the sky above and inspire visitors to experience a meditative connection with nature. The combination of warm ambient lighting and minimalist interiors creates an atmosphere inviting deep breathing and complete mindfulness.

Your Stay at The Haven

Three customized immersive experiences are available for guests to select during their stay at The Haven Retreat.

🌿 Stillness Pods is an isolated retreat for reflection and journaling that fosters personal rejuvenation. Golden mountain sunrises awaken you, while meditative moments by the infinity pool allow silence to work its healing.

🔥 Elemental Pods takes you through a sensory adventure based on the earth, air, fire, and water elements. Combining earth textures with fire illumination and water installations provides a complete sensory reset to reconnect individuals with their primal essence.

Dream Pods caters to visionaries and deep thinkers alongside artists. This area provides a comfortable stargazing dome, sound-healing sessions, and wisdom-filled books to spark creativity and introspection.

Disconnect to Reconnect

The Haven offers complete silence by eliminating WiFi and notifications so you can focus on breathing and appreciate the endless horizon. The pods feature selected soundscapes, aromatherapy, and customized optional spiritual counseling services to assist you in your journey.

Philippe

I'm Philippe, a photographer and visual artist working where image-making meets world-building. Basajaun Studio takes its name from the Basque "Lord of the Forest," a guardian said to have taught early humans the secrets of tool-making. It felt like the right name for a studio that spends most of its time building industrial mythology out of light, paper, and second-guessing.

My work sits between the surreal and the restrained - vintage sci-fi propaganda, distressed textures, compositions that hint at more than they explain. The flagship of that world is Halden·Voss Industrial Group: a company that was dissolved in 2051 and never actually existed, recovered piece by piece through the prints and objects you'll find here.

Everything is made slowly, guided by hand rather than left to the machine. If a piece makes you stop and wonder what happened to the world it came from, it's doing its job.
